Sometimes I like reviewing pairs I barely have to say anything about. There’s not much to say about the Nike Blazer Mid Medium Grey except that it’s a really dope basic shoe.
If I’m not mistaken, the Blazer technically started off as a basketball shoe. Eventually they became one of the more well known casual shoes. The shoe seems to release in spurts – we won’t see a good pair of Blazers for a while and then all of a sudden Nike will drop like 4-8 new colorways with different levels of quality. This pair appears to be pre-vintaged as the tongue has the exposed padding typical of this style.
These say PRM on the box, which I assume means premium. They must be referring to the pre-vintaged look as the premium feature because the materials are definitely average at best. The suede is a very short grain and is maybe a step or two better than a total sandpaper vibe. The synthetic leather used on the swoosh is decent, but definitely doesn’t scream “Premium”.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike Blazer Mid Medium Grey fit true to size and are very comfortable. There’s not a lot going on with these shoes which is awesome in this case; just classic sneaker comfort that looks great on foot. My only real gripe with Blazers is they take forever to get on. Something about tall, skinny shoes with a lot of eyelets. They seem to really wrap your foot which means shoving your foot into them takes some effort. Still, I totally recommend these for anyone wanting a basic shoe that is going to go with anything and guaranteed look nice and clean on foot while still giving off that vintage vibe.
